New: Today Wireless Plugin
2 Attachment(s)
He's a great new and free Today screen plugin. Takes little screen space and lite on the memory too.
Tekcomm plugin (Author's Website) is a simple application for controlling the radio devices on your Pocket PC: Phone, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN. http://www.teksoftco.com/radu/posts/post006/cezoom0.jpg Under the settings icon (first on the left) for "Enter Phone Connection to Dial" you'll want to put Sprint PCS Vision: this will allow for the 2nd to last icon (w/butterfly) to act as a Data Connection toggle, which is very nice (and was my request to the developer as well as 5-way navigation! :D ) Forget your "Comm Manager" this is much simplier and more reliable :thumbleft: |

Haven't checked it out yet.. but what are each of those icons? No clue on the first, Bluetooth, Phone, Wifi.. and the last 2?
|
i know the first one is config. not really sure about the last 2

Looks Awesome. Im going to try it out.

Thanks Malatesta. Haven't installed yet but will these icons stack on top of the phone alarm icons?
|
1) Yeah, they work great with PhoneAlarm. With some skins for PA, they are redundant but I still like the look and ease of access
2) The last two icons: icon with butterfly is to connect/disconnect your data/GPRS connection which is basically your EvDO (see config instructions in my 1st post) The very last icon: This is for a specific access point address for wifi. Say you're in a building with multiple APs, but you only want to connect to one. That button is like a "favorite" access point (SSID)--you click it and it'll connect to that one WiFi AP even if you're picking up mulitple APs. |
i thought the last one was for using your phone as a modem.. if you go under settings and connections, you'll see that same icon and it says use phone as modem or something along those lines underneath

Great addin!! Only thing I would like to see added in would be the inclusion of a button to disable/enable direct push. That would be the best. I find myself still using the comm manager to shutdown the DP when I don't want to be bothered with email (during meetings or other times when it can be a nuisance.
