Ok, which one of you broke XM radio and Sirius CE with 3.3+
 

.asx files will not stream from either windows media player or TCPMP

I have taken a look at the reg entries which are puzzling me.


Can someone from AKU 2.2 export their registry. I am hearing that it works with 2.2 builds and complaints from those using 3.3+

Its like windows media and tcpmp dont know what to do with this type of file. I was under the impressing that XM broke something. But sirius does the same thing.

The keys i am looking at particular are:

HKEY_Classes_Root\ASXFile\
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\

Would be nice to get this working.

Edit: I just checked these against the 3.3 rom and there are identical ae879543-c73e-4888-812b-d8177c404612.rgu files with these entries

ASX streaming works with my version of 3.3

I wasn't able to get XM streams to work with 3.3 and PIE.. however I did get it working with Opera..

btw.. I never got the XM streams to work with TCPMP.... it always gave me a mms:// error..
