HTC home plugin / data wifi

Is there anyway to set up programs like to weather on htc home so that it will turn on wifi, update weather and turn back off wifi. I don't want to leave my wifi on all the time and I don't have a data plan.

nope WIFI is a hardwired switch, You will have to manually turn the wifi switch on and off

You mean vitrualy. Physicaly mine does not have a swith it is a software setting. I have a ppc6700. I know on the Sprint Mogul that there is a hardware switch.
