I have always wondered what the today timeout is for, and what it dose. Dose anyone know? This is a :newb: question I am sure

I believe the time out is for appointments where if you dont tell it youve done something it will take itself off the today screen 4 hours after it was supposed to begin

the funny thing is i've been asking myself the same question since i got the phone, i never new what the today timeout was... now i know & now i feel WISER...lol :lol:

you can chose to display or not those things on the main screen.......come on guys, we are not that nooob :P :roll:

Actually, it tells your PPC when to return back to the Today screen if you've left programs open. For instance, if you leave your phone with the dial pad or contacts open, and have the today timeout set for 1 hour, then after one hour, your phone will only display the Today screen.
