Goodbye Apache friends

Just wanted to say thanks for all the assistance I was able to find here amongst the Apache gurus. I have received my Mogul and will be hoping to tweak and mod it as well as I was able to do with my 6700 thanks again to the folks here. Hopefully, I will still be a ble to use some of the results from your hard work and eventually maybe you guys will all (I almost said upgrade-but that would infer that the Mogul if a better phone) get the newer phone which is the Mogul and bring your talents to that forum. I do not know if you guys strictly stay in this forum or browse the entire forum site so I wanted to extend my thanks in case you do not.

I also wanted to say goodbye, so what a coincidence that this message is here. Thanks to all that provided the kitchen for the apache!!!! As for my replacement I am currently testing the Treo 755p, but it's starting to look like I will be trading it for the i760 in the next week.

Welcome to everyone who is starting on the "Mogul Experience". Also to those leaving the Windows world and going to Palm, Sprint is coming out with a Treo 800 windows edition in the summer, running gps, WM6.0 and Rev A. and im sure VZW will be also.

Good luck on the new journies you all are about to begin lol

I too will be leaving apache and joining the mogul crowd. While my time with the xv6700 was short, I learned a lot about flashing roms and making my own using helmi c's kitchens. I actually got to use wm6 and wm6.1! that is a dream come true to own a phone flashed to wm6 anything because the samsung i730 didn't have it. For all the memories the xv6700 had to offer, I salute you!
Now on to the mogul and verizon and new stuff to learn to flash it to a good rom. My phone comes wednesday and I can't wait!

What to do?

I'm currently on the fence. I've had my Mogul sitting here for a week or so. I ordered it via Sero a couple of weeks ago (ported BACK from T-mo). They told me the Mogul was backordered so I told them to cancel the mogul and I ordered the free LG flip phone. The one request I had was for them to re-activate my 6700 that I had been modding in preparation to receiving the Mogul. The day after getting the LG (still brand new) I received the Mogul. Seems like the mogul was purchased outright and tacked onto my 2nd month bill. Now after using the 6700 again I'm reluctant to switch. Is the $325 price tag worth it? I have the seidio 3200 battery (6700) and I know that I will need to purchase another battery for the Mogul (Seidio or Mugen). I'm hard pressed and I think I'm just going to return the phone. They gave me 30 days so just incase my 6700 dies/pisses me off/or I just get jealous of my friend's 6800s I'll keep it handy. But the $300+ could be used toward some new wheels or parts for my car.
