Error 1010 trying to tether
 

aku33. Verizon. bt turned off. connected via miniusb w/o active sync even installed.

Trying to tether, so I can advoid the $10/day for internet at Disney... When I try to ##feature (3328873), nothing happens. I when I launch the dialer.exe from the pc (with wmodem running on the xv6700) I get an error:
Error 1010
Data service is not available when device is in tethered and Bluetooth Dial Up Networking mode.

Any ideas? BTW, I leave 4a tomorrow :(

EDIT just hard reset, and manually ran the verizon customize cab, then i could ##feature, and wmodem was enabled and bt was diabled. I grabbed the files off the cd, and re-installed them, and still no dice.

Nevermind, I got it... it was the telephony service on the laptop was disabled -- re-enabled, and posting using it right now!
