Phone function not working.
 

The phone function of my phone won't work. I can use it like a PDA, but I can't get the phone portion of the phone to work at all. Won't do anything. I do have a spare parts phone that I could use, but what I was wondering is this. If I swap the radios in the phone, will it fix the issue with the phone not engaging, and second will it still have the same ESN, or will it get the new radio ESN?? Any help would be appreciated.

Well if you haven't done so already I'd start with a soft reset. If that doesn't help then I'd perform a hard reset (hopefully you have backed up your data).

Smarter people than me can answer the ESN question.

Also, you posted this in the 700wx Forum and I moved it to the 6700 forum based on your info under your user name. If you want in back in the 700wx forum let me know.

Oh, I have already tried both of those options and they don't work. I actually wanted it in the 700 forum. I was talking about my buddies phone, but it is just easier to say that it is mine than to talk about it being his phone... Helps to keep the thread shorter and easier to read what is really going on. I do appreciate ya looking out for me though. (I just hope that I haven't led ya all to believe I am that bad of a nOOb that I post in the wrong forums all the time...) To be honest, I kind of hope that he has to get another phone, just so that I have the chance to get him out of a 700wx and into a phone that imo isn't crap. (Although, it isn't a Motorola so he did something right I guess.)
