Are Android experiments possible with XV6700

I have upgraded from WM5 to WM 6 (thank you, Helmi, you are a God!), and I like WM6 a lot. However, I am thinking of experimenting with Android. Has anyone done any experimentation with this as of yet, or heard anything?

Android is out and is a free download but you must be a programmer to use it. You can view and download it here.

Thanks, Weedahoe. I am a programmer, so I'll try the link. I notice from search that there haqve been several questions about this. Does there need to be some sort of central thread to keep all of this together?

You might want to look at the sister site at:

http://projectgphone.com/

If you get something working, post it there...

I am more excited about linux being released for our phones. Granted both projects are great but imagine the possibilities of hacking if linux is fully developed for the 6700. *Chuckles*
