Can you Answer a call when Data Connection is active?

If you have 1x of EVDO data connection going, are you able to answer an incoming call without issue?

Currently, when I have the above scenario the incoming call notification window hangs for 5 - 10 seconds after I attempt to take the call. The caller gets my voicemail and I miss the call.

I can take calls when wifi is enabled....I dont have a data package so I have it turned off with nodata...

I had those same problems with the call hanging. As soon as a hit answer it would send them to voicemail...I recooked a rom last week that I took out the programs I dont use leaving alot of extra memory left. I havent had a problem with it since. Could also be the dialer now that I think about it.

I installed the mobile vista dialer into the rom with an oem I made from the cab and no problems...(knock on wood)..I used to install a cab for the dialer.

heres the dialer if interested.

This is from the WMWifiRouter knowledge base, but the results should be the same for all data connections + phone calls.

Don't really know if a ROM can make a real difference.

My issue has been resolved and I am now able to use Direct Push/Data Connection and take calls, or at least the data connection does it job when a call comes in.

I can't say for certain, but I updated my WM6 kitchen (removed advanced configurator) and all works well.

Thanks for you reply's
