can't get WDMC to recognize 6700 on Vista
 

Hi there. I have a PPC 6700 loaded with WM6. I can hook it up to my pc that has XP and it syncs up just fine, no problems, I can access all the files, etc. However, when I hook it up to my Vista computer, I can't get WDMC to recognize it. It just says Not Connected. I've tried everything I can think of to get this to work. I'm getting rid of my XP machine soon so I need to figure out how to get this to work with Vista or no more goodies for me. ](*,)

EDIT: Ok, so I spent most of the day with Alltel tech support and they can't even figure out how to get it working. Anyone have any ideas? I'm desperate here.

Do you have WMDC 6.0 or 6.1?

Have you been to this Windows Mobile forum? Take a look at the first "sticky".

They usually prescribe a lot of uninstalling/reinstalling WMDC and deleting/remaking partnerships. What exactly have you tried? Hard to offer any suggestions without knowing.

Mine worked without a hitch.
