Install problems
 

I have a PPC 6700 and have tried to install a freeware money program ( Pocket Finance Diary)and got a error message that the program requires a newer version of Microsoft.Net Compact framework than what is currently installed. How do I determine what version I have and then how to I find the newest version and where do I get it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Here is Microsoft Net Compact Framework 3.5 which is pretty much the latest one you need for programs to work/run.

I had that same problem....I just d/l 3.5 to the pc run the file and it will xfer to the 67 via activesync.

Thanks for the help. I downloaded 3.5 to my PC then moved the file to the folder to transfer to my 6700. After that I found the transfered file on my 6700 but got a error message "There is no application associated with SSCEDeviceRuntime-ENU. Run the application first, then the file from within the application." What applicaton does this run in????

:drunken:OK here's the update. I tried downloading the file again from the hyperlink only this time I used IE instead of Firefox for my browser and installed perfectly. Thanks again for helping a new guy out!!!!!!!
