messed up text messaging
 

I know this has been talked about before, and honestly i did search and search and asked but i cant find the posts about it for the life of me!! so please forgive me for asking again, but i'm having problems with my text messaging. I've got a ppc 6700, with alltel. and i'm running robmeyers rom on it. and everything else is great, but my text messages come in with the first word of the message in place of the sender so i dont know who they're from and cant reply. could someone please let me know how to fix this, and in real simple terms casue i'm a very new user. Thanks so much!!!!!!

hey man i had this problem too...just do a hard reset (make sure you sync everything first) and when it says "customizing in 3 seconds" or whatever do a soft reset, and it loads up fine! you're probably gonna wanna get your carriers roms afterwards, but if you screw up, just do another hard reset!
