Re: 3.3 or 3.5?

It's in the FIRST post of the other thread.

I thought the AKU change was to 3.3 not 3.5.

Any thoughts?

Microsoft .NET CF 2 to Main Memory
SPB Diary to Main Memory

The only problem I has was after installing MS .NET CF 2 Active Sync would freeze up the phone everytime I tried to sync. I uninstalled .NET CF 2 and Active Sync was fine. Re-installed .NET CF 2 and all was ok. I then installed SPB Time and SPB Weather to Main Memory. At that point my SD Card started Disapearing. The only way to get it back is to remove the SD card and put it back but only after it has been resumed from suspend for several minutes. I'm thinks this must be a registry change that is made in this AKU. I have put in the stability reg hacks(after finding the problem) from sonny486 in the PDAPhonehome forum.

Im leaning more towards CF2 being the culprit on the disappearing card issue. Truth of the matter is, right after I installed that on AKU2.2 my card started disappearing as well.

Now that you mention it, my SD card hasn't disappeared since I uninstalled PocketPlus.

More problems with WModem & AKU 3.3

Woo-hoo! I found my XV6700 Driver CD!

But, I still have big problems. After I start WModem, the "Unknown Device" that appears on the USB says that it is incompatible with the driver in the "..\OEM\Apps\Drivers\CDMA USB Modem" directory. Uninstalling and then reinstalling the "Unknown Device" hasn't helped.

Note: Sometimes, when I connect up the XV6700 and start WModem, I see a device show up on the USB that says something like, "... Modem (Be sure to change VendorId)". What the heck do I do about THAT?

Can anyone help? I have not been able to successfully connect my laptop to the Internet yet using my XV6700 with the AKU 3.3 ROM.

Sigh.

I don't have a "Settings" under that registry ...uh... directory.

Am I the only one?

Robb

I don't either. I think I don't because I have never paired an A2DP device. Have you, Robb?

I don't have that key and i've never had that key. I think some of the other threads mention adding that info as a fix, but i haven't tested it. Does anyone have any documentation on this registry key? Is it needed for the 6700?

has anyone used IR to transfer files? I used to swap files on my father in laws treo700p all the time but my 6700 isn't finding it on 3.3.

I've had the phone app lock up a few times when dialing since the upgrade. when this happens it will never get to connected and end won't work. I have to soft reset to get the phone app to work again. Also after the reset the previous number isn't in the call list so it's like it never happened. Anyone else see this or have an idea what might be causing it?

Microsoft Voice Command 1.5 Does not work

I installed MS Voice Command with MS NET Framework 2.0, and receive the following error:
Voice Command has encountered a problem. Restart Voice Command and try again. I've done that and still receive the same error message.

Has anyone run into this issue and can provide some feedback?

Thanks
