Extracting and installing individual components of Rom after flashing phone ??
 

After building my rom, and flashing my phone I was wondering if it is possible to extract individual components of the rom and installed them separately after already flashing my phone ?

I noticed a few items that I would like to try but don't want to go thru the whole process of reflashing my phone just to see if they will work for me...

Use something like Totalcommander and then navigate to the /ROM/ area. You should find all of the cab files in there and you can execute them individually...

That will rarely work. In most cases, you'll have to find the actual .cab the OEM was made from.

Bah !! That is correct !! The cab files have to bundled with the OEM. DUH !!! I should have thought about that... and if you flashed it with a custom ROM and that dis not have the cab files bundled... hmmmm...
