Bluetooth and Wifi Don't Mesh?

I just got a set of Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones and they work just fine, as long as I'm not trying to listen to anything over wifi. Is this a known issue and is there a fix for it? I'm running the WM6 ROM and I have several pairings set up with my device but when I was trying to do this the only thing I had paired to it was the headphones. If I turn on wifi and try to stream an MP3 across my local network or a video using either Media Player or TCPMP it comes through all choppy. I also tried to stream using XM and ORB and the same thing happened. If I switch over to using EVDO I can stream XM and listen through ORB/Media Player with no problems.

This was long time ago...dont quote me on this 8) I remember reading the reason for the choppy audio.

The 67 Bluetooth/WiFi radio are on the same chip..thus giving a bottleneck affect when both are in use for audio streaming

That would make sense since they both operate on the 2.4ghz frequency.

I could only get a stream working intermittently at best. You could try a different wifi channel on the router to see if it's interference with bluetooth.
