Hack for changing Task and Start Bar Height?
 

I may be searching for the wrong terms, but I am not finding anything.

Is there a way to create more real estate on the Today Screen by shrinking the height of the Start Bar and the Soft Keys bar? That seems to be more height than is really needed. Especially for the Soft Keys.

You can change the size of the scroll bars but not the task bars.

There are many hacks to do a lot of things but I would suggest trying this free application called Advanced Configuration Tool

I use an app called dciNoBar... it will take a way the bottom softkeys off the screen, but the button funtionality still remains for the hard keys.

As for the top bar, i've been meaning to look for something that will remove it as well, i just never got back around to looking for it.
