Flasing from a SD card

Is there a way to flash your apache from the SD card? I am unable to flash from my vista laptop, even after all of the cool work arounds I have read about.

Any help will be appreciated!

I did it once with an 8525, but not with my Apache.

Would I rename the file APACHEIMG.nbh?

My God it took me so long to find that when i wanted to do it I wanted to make sure I posted it for you. That will work 100% for a backing up and then also reflashing a rom that is already on your phone. If you are trying to build one put it on an sd card and then flash I don't know though

Hey, while this a nice trick and very informative, why not use SPB Clone. I have it and I can make a bootable ROM backup in .exe form on my SD and all I need to do insert that SD in your phone and it will autostart and load an exact replica of everything thats on my phone (at time of backup) and load it on your phone.

Yes, your phone would need to have the same exact ROM as what I am using (or you would have to install it first) but even this link provided above states "this is ideal for taking a rom Backup prior to reflashing or performing similar actions which are usually considered irreverseable."
