CAB to remove Cyberon VC
 

Can someone please create and post a cab that will do this? Please!!! :) :) :)

Not sure if they will have a way to remove this software as it is quite complex, but from what I understand, there has been a little talk about leaving it out of the next custom rom and using a seperate cab for those that want to install it.

delete /windows/startup/sddaemon.lnk

delete this key entirely: {2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18} from.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extens ions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Main_ContextMenu
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extens ions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Main_Tools
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extens ions\ContextMenus\Contacts\Summary_Tools

delete "VoiceTagCPL" from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel

Reset.

This will delete it or simply disable it?

it will stop it from starting up at start up, remove it from the control panel, and remove the add voice tag from contacts menu.

I removed all the references in the registry but VC still pops up. I didnt have the /windows/startup/sddaemon.lnk though.

Have you double checked that it's not in another startup area. It's quite possible it's being called in some other method. I myself haven't disabled it yet since VoiceCommand works fine side by side with it (I just changed the settings around slightly).

Where would those other areas be?
