Double Notifications

So I have birthday's in my calendar setup to repeat every year.. The events that are now going on the 2nd year are sending me 2x notifications...

I used memmaid and cleaned out dupe notifications but I still get 2x notifications for events repeating the 2nd time around..

Now with that being said come around next year I can see myself getting 3x notifications for all Birthdays... Would anyone know how to fix this?

So no one has responded to this question which makes me believe that no one has ever setup an event in Outlook to repeat?

There are threads on this problem in Search.
It IS a problem. There is a big fix, check threads, but I don 't remember it and it is only temporary. The best daily fix for recurring notification dupes is to get MemMaid 2.x. You can get a trial version for free at PocketGear or Handango and see how it works on notification cleanup... and a zillion other maintenance issues. It's the best $ I ever spent on my 6700.

I don't understand why the notifications keep duplicating. I read a long thread on the theoretical reasons and still don't know why they keep coming back after I delete them. But with MemMaid, at least you can clean them out 2 or 3 times a day and minimize the need to soft reboot.

BTW, DON'T get the free Scary Bear application that claims to do the same notification cleanup. It's not a cleanup; it's a screwup.
