if you're talking about the leds, check this thread, there is a registry hack that turns them off. i think it's in the second post, but i don't remember exactly.

theres a lot of great stuff out there, especially on forums like this one. a lot of free stuff i should say.

i have another question how would you turn off the xv6700, because im going to be gone for about 4 months and im not going to bring my phone and i have no idea how to turn off this phone can anyone help me with steps to step, and how would you turn on answering machine and still get text and send text is there a way for that?

There is a way you can change the transparency of the pic so you do not have that issue. I cannot remember where exactly as I use Resco Photo Viewer to do all my viewing and editing.

Yes you can disable them but I believe there are side effects to doing it. You can look here at all the hacks and mods that I compiled some time back. However, LEDs use very little battery and so if you are having battery capacity and usage issues then you have other issues at hand.

To shut off blinking LED go to:

Hkey_Local_Machine/Drivers/Builtin/AllLEDMgr
And change the Index value from 1 to 0
Then soft reset.
This is for both the blue and green LEDs.

There are several apps that will allow you to create your own. Wisbar is one of them. www.Paulya.com used to have some nice things but I see that site is no longer online.
