Phone locked up

Okay, I mentioned about possibly having a memory leak issue since I d/led .net. Now my PPC is locked up.

Here's what I have done:

I recently added the map4pda program and the .net function for it to work, that's it. However, a few hours after using the map and turning it off and making sure it was actually off in the running programs area, I noticed the PPC kept giving me error messages that my memory was running low. Now, I installed both programs on my 2G mini sd card. I thought well I will just let the bugger resta a bit. I go to use it this morning and the screen is stuck in transition from portrait to landscape mode. the stylus is completely unresponsive. Whenever I push the end call button (the red phone button) I get a delayed beep after about ten seconds. The background is gone and is still stuck in that transition between modes.

What the heck shall I do???

Also, it won't sync now. The computer can't see it.

ok first soft reset by pessing the little hole in the bottom with the stylus. this will reset it and u won't lose any data so don't be worried about that. have u done the rom upgrade? this helps with speed issues. and clear those temp files, this is where may ppl have memory issues come from. ;) and let me know what happens.

Okay the soft reset seems to have worked. Yes I updated the rom as soon as I got the phone. I am getting ready to put pie plus on here to see if there is something that is eating away at the memory that is no showing up for some reason.

u will have to soft reset every once and awhile. I do it every couple of days or o myself. pie plus isn't gonna show ya memory that's 'lost' but either way in pie theres any option menu to delete those files.

My phone does the same thing-locks up once in awhile. Like Wideawake said, I have to do a soft reset every couple days.
