Pulling Pictures from storage
Here's a question for you PPC Geeks! I have a ton of pics that are stored on the camera's main memory. When I try to move them to my computer, the pictures never show up on the computer.
When the camera is docked, I will select the pictures one by one (I have even tried all at the same time) and then copy them and try to paste them to a folder on the computer's desktop. On the screen of the computer it will show like it is copying and moving them, but once the process is done, the files are not on the computer. They still reside on the 6700. Now I can delete them from using the file explorer on the computer. Also, if I try to cut them instead of copy, then paste to anywhere on the computer, the file will of course be removed from the phone, but it will not be on the computer, so the file then just dissapears. Gone forever in the digital fragments of the Matrix. Any of you have this problem or know how this can be remedied? |
what you do is create a folder on your desktop and copy them there... for some reason you can only copy from your ppc to your desktop...hope that helps it worked for me

I created a folder on my desktop and that didn't work... :(
But, what I did notice was that each time I was syncing it was doing it as a guest. I had to remove my original sync relationship off of my ppc. Once I did that and resynced I chose to use the file folder sync option and wa-la, all was there. Interesting, though I can drag and drop into the ppc as a guest, but not pull from. Thanks for your advice though xclusiv_1 |
yea that a feature that stops ppl from stealing important info of ur ppc without ur permission. I have a passcode set up on mine for extra security. :thumbleft:

You could try to copy the pictures to your minisd card then pull the card out of your ppc and put it in your pc. It's an extra step but I think it will work.

he figured it out, it was because he was trying to copy them signed on as a guest through activsync. that's why. ;)
