Wifi On While The Phone Is On..

Go to the key HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SERVICES\WirelessMGR and change “MutexFlag” from 1 to 0. soft reset. You’ll now be able to have wifi on while the phone is on.


(MY QUESTION IS ..HOW THE HECK DO U GET INTO THE KEY "HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SERVICESS\WIRELESSMGR.....!!!!!!!!!!!!)
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.! I AM NEW TO THIS NEW 6800 MOGULE! STEP BY STEP WILL BE NICE.! THANKS.

you need a "register editor".....there are many out there..(freeware)

after the downld..do i save it to my card or the phone itself.?

well if you d/l the "desktop installer"....you need to run the d/l on the PC and it will install to the 67 via active sync.

If you d/l the "cab" you need to run that on the 67 either the phone memory or card...I would save it on the card and install it on the card..no need to eat up phone memory.

I am on using the 6800. and it's not running the prgm at all. I ran it on the desktop first.. then tried to move it over to the 6800 in the card..but nothing at all.. it shows as if it did download into it..but i can only see the icon..nothing comes up.. its like viewing properties of a file...

any other ideas of different registry editors..?

lol....here is a very simple reg edit....just unzip.....after the unzip copy the "file" (RegEditCe) to the 67 and run from the location it was saved.
