Wideawake's Custom ROM due out....
 

tonight I promise. I know the deadline keeps getting pushed back but I'm a very busy guy lately. But its almost finished with only a few more tweaks needed. ;)

Does the new ROM fix the BT audio won't play through regualr BT headset?I have this problem after upgraded to AKU 2.2.

hey wide... forgot one feedback item from the last beta.

I used to use the InClose task manager, and it does not work with your previous beta since that includes HTC X Task Manager - even if X Close is 'disabled' it still hooks something or other in the OS and InClose gets wedged from time to time and I need to soft reset.

For now the workaround was just to remove InClose, but InClose has some features that X Task lacks - it would be nifty if it were possible to uninstall X Close on the custom rom, but I didn't see a way to do that. Otherwise the bennies of the new OS far exceed the loss of InClose, so I will live with it if there isn't any way around that.

The BT fix I'm still trying to narrow down the problem....if anyone may know of a fix let me know and I will include. But as of now I'm stumped.

I use btaudio_190.zip, I can listen to music via my regular BT headsets. My rom is the telecom AKU2.2, my phone is sprint ppc 6700. The file is from the thread "People with bluetooth headsets 4 their ppc!!!"

can u activate vc through ur bt?

I use BTToggle,worked great with AKU 2.0(Sprint ROM),haven't try btaudio.zip yet with AKU 2.2.

this really is great i couldnt test the 2.2 beta 1
i would love to try the beta 2, i am sure it will be a good one like pretty much everything on this site.. :)
