My 6700 is acting crazy, what do I do?

So I started installing cab programs like S2U2, PocketCM, Today plugin, etc and a couple days ago my battery drain became unreasonable, i freeze up often, and its getting rediculous.

I have the original WM5 that came with the phone and I have 14/23 left in memory. Would it help to use the new kitchen or upgrade to WM6? If so I really dont understand the kitchen/rom thing much. thanks in advance

you could flash the rom. you have conflicting proggies installed somewhere..... do a hard reset and that should fix you up. but you lose everything so back up the important stuff like contacts.

2 questions:

what is best way to hard reset

is there a better way to soft reset other than taking battery out and turning back on

The best way to hard reset is to press both the soft buttons (the ones with lines above the send and end buttons) and then stick your stylus in the little hole on the bottom of your phone.

Just sticking the stylus in the hole in the bottom is the best way to soft reset.

If you will try the kitchen most of the programs you referred to are in the kitchen and can be built into you ROM. i have made a tutorial on how to flash you ROM. It is here in the upgrades section. Good luck. Just post your questions and we will be glad to help you.

HAH! So I am in the kitchen with my kiss the cook apron and i noticed that the dropdown for WM6 didnt have an option for WM5. So I will go ahead and dl the WM5 kitchen now.

you might as well just upgrade to wm6 if your cooking a rom.

Everything WM6-related is in the apache\upgrades forum. You can find Helmi's WM6 kitchen here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=11074
