no problem. another question. when I make my rings can I store them on my card and USE them as rings or do they need to be in the windows directory? same question goes for text and email .wav files...thx again

they need to be in the windows directory. i save all my created or downloaded ringtones to my storage card and keep them around in case i feel like changing tones. sometimes the guys I work with will want a certain tone and I will bring it in for them and beam or whatever.

Well you can use ringers on the SD card technically, but i think the consensus is it is a bad idea. Due to the extra time it takes to wake up the SD card it might ring 3-4 times on the other end before you start to hear your ringer.

It is one of the reg hacks listed in This Thread if you still want to give it a try though.
