Someone steal my 6700 at school :( can someone fix my old one or give me a free one?
 

I gave my phone to my friend to hold on to. she fuckin puts it on the floor the next second its gone im so pissed. does the cricket phone service have a way of tracking a phone down? i really want it back. but if not can someone fix my old ppc 6700. when i try to call someone on the phone it says "wireless radio must be attched to use this phone" i can pay money for u to do that. or would someone be nice and give me a free one ther not using anymore. im only 13 so i cant go out and by a new one. or i can trade a nintendo ds and a few bucks.

Where you or your parents paying for the service? If you can log into your Sprint account online or have your parents do so, add this to your plan:

Total Equipment Protection ($7 monthly)

Wait 30 days from today for it to kick in & then what you should do is:

1. Call Sprints customer service line
Tell them your information & what happened to the phone, it got stolen & you want to know if you can get the phone replaced?

2. They should see you have TEP on your account & they'll say "We'll deactivate the stolen phone & flag it & we will replace your old model."

Sorry to hear you lost you phone to a thief but remember, never let anybody hold or use your phone at school, EVER & always password lock your phone.

Would sprint family locator work on the 6700? If so, you could get that added to your account and it should point you to approx. where the phone is.

What's "cricket" exactly?

Did you call sprint to ask them to switch to your other phone? They have to activate it...

Cricket is a provider like Sprint, Alltel, Verizon, etc., which means he's not on Sprint.

And telling a 13 year old to lie for a replacement is way less than cool.
