how to blank out Calendar database

I think I have a corrupted Calendar database (my sync over-the-air with an Exchange server works for everything else but now always gets stuck half-way through the calendar sync). How do I completely clear out the Calendar database? It says if delete the Exchange server settings, it will *not* clear my database. I'd be happy to clear them all (email, contacts, etc.) - that's fine too, I'll just re-sync everything. How do I do it? I'm running phoenx06's C&S ROM on a Verizon XV6700.

Thanks,

Mike

delete pim.vol - that will nuke all the pim data, call history, and speed dial. It's in the root (\) directory

(instead of deleting it, rename it or copy it and then delete it. You will need to use some app like total commander that ignores the "in use" bit :D)

Soft reset - it should create a new, empty pim.vol. Check it by opening contacts and calendar.

Hmmm. I used Total Commander but it refuses to delete it; how do I get it to ignore the "un use" bit?

Thanks,

Mike

Well foo.

Try soft-rest, then right away rename it or delete it, then another soft reset.

Can you rename it? That should would fine as well. Just rename it and soft reset (assuming it lets you rename it.)

nope - it doesn't. But I've now found a utility that lets me empty the database, so it's ok. Thanks,

Mike
