Custom Case For 6700

I had bought this case before but did a sloppy job on modifying it so I bought another one. I bought this case at BestBuy for $19.99. It is a Universal Case for PDA phones made by BodyGlove. The 6700 fits perfectly in it, the only thing is that the joystick gets squished down so I had to cut a section of the plastic out. I also removed the BodyGlove logo and cut a hole through for the earpiece speaker. I had tried to cut a hole in the bottom for the charger on my last one and it didnt work out very well so I didnt do it on this one. I put it in the cradle when I charge it anyway. I like this case because it covers the phone completely. The only thing exposed is the antenna. I did remove the belt clip on the back just to make the case smaller. But all in all it is a great case. Of course the keyboard cant be opened while in it, but the case does protect the phone and screen great. Pics Below.

thats not bad at all man. good job! i'll haft to check this idea out.

one thing i wish was out there, was a case that would let you open up the keyboard while in the case, so you can type on the raw keyboard for text messaging, then slide it back in when you're done. but i doubt that will ever be made because i think the idea is just hard.

but i might stand corrected, knowing this board and its people lol

No the touch screen works just fine. This case was designed for touchscreen phones. Actually to me it seems like the touch screen is more responsive when you use your finger not the stylus. The only negative is clicking one of the four corners like the X button. You really have to put a lot of pressure on it.
