Faxing with PPC?
 

So I've been searching for months now, and I still can't find any software for this. I know it's possible to fax with my PPC6700 when it's tethered to my laptop, but I get charged with old school "Wireless Web" minutes, even though I have unlimited data. That's .38/min. So, my question is.... Is there any software out there that can loaded into my phone, that will let it fax a file that I have on my phone? I'm guessing it needs to know that there is an internal modem called cellular line.

Look up a program called "scanr," I used to use it on my 6700 to email pdf's of pics, and it had faxing capability. Really good program!

WOW!!! i just looked up this software and its amazing. you can take a picture of a document send it to scanr & it will send it back to u in a pdf format, you can either have the document faxed, just scanned and sent back to u for record keeping & have it to make copies... this is amazing. and the best thing is that it is free, & the developers advised that it will remain free. the only negative side to it is that they request u use a 2.0+ mp camera, but i think the camera on the ppc is amazing so i don't think it'll be a problem... here is the link

i haven't downloaded it yet or tried it out, but as per the website it shouldn't be any trials... hmmm i'll have to send that over to support and ask that question... but wide, has it worked for u at all?

I downloaded it too to my 6700, but my pictures doesn't show like normal pictures, they kind of look like negatives, but with a white like background. are they suppose to look that way? also when I went to the website on my laptop, it set me up for a 30 day trial too. I had to re-register when I logged on with my 6700
