Changing the sliding volume control
 

Is there a way to change the behavior of the sliding volume control button (between the record and IE buttons on the side). I'd love to have that control the up and down scrolling, but I haven't been able to find that option or hack.

BTW, this site rocks! You guys are very helpful, even though I've never asked any questions directly. Every question I've had, I was able to find an answer to and upgrade my phone with Helmi's newest WM6 kitchen and several various apps (still working on exactly what works best for me). Thanks for all the wonderful help!!

I knew it! As soon as I said something about this, I'd find the answer I was looking for. Oh well.

The app I found was AE.Button. It was options for ALL the buttons on the device. Pretty cool, and seems to work - so far.
