noob warning: Is it possible to browse to a .cab online
 

from your phone and dowload/install it?

I uploaded a .cab to my website, but when I browed to it, it did not d/l it as an attachment, but rather tried to open it as text.

I'd like to create a repository online of all the hacks/apps I've been installing that you guys have recommended in a ton of different posts.

Anyone know? Is there a PPC development forum somewhere that may know, or is this easy?

Thats why all the .cabs loaded here are zipped up. And yes you can download almost any attachment here directly to ur ppc, and run...no problem. I have found that most .cabs and a few other file types do this on the PPC. So I suggest u zip them up. ;)
