email sync with pics?
I use outlook for everything and sync everything in outlook with my phone (everything possible) and I want to sync my email with the pictures to my phone (i use a 2gig sd card to hold attachments). I want the pictures that are included in the email to sync to my phone as well.
I don't have a data service because im poor (image that, poor with a very expensive phone)...any ways I don't want to have to go through all my emails on my phone and tell it to download pictures for the email, I want it to happen automatically. Is there some way, when I sync my phone, for the email that is synced to have the pics synced automatically so I don't have to do it manually? |
christinme,
In the activesync email options on the phone, you can choose to automatically download attachments smaller than a certain size - you can't limit these to just pictures. Separately, you can set your email attachments to save to the storage card - they will be in their own database, however, not in "My Pictures". (I don't remember the tweak for this since I don't do it, but you should find it easily in a search. It's also easy with Memmaid.) Of course you could also sync your photos outside of Outlook, but that doesn't seem to be your intent. Good luck. tmb |
