Battery Question
Hey all,
I replaced the 1250mAh battery (oem) on my VX6700 with a 3200mAh battery. Is there a way to let the OS know I have an extended battery? The only thing I see is in the battery settings there is an estimated talk time displayed in minutes. Basically I took 3200 and divided it by 1250 and then mutiplied that value to the 233 minutes the default battery time is. This gave me a rough 8 hour battery time. Any other option to correct this? |
i dont think any phone has the option to tell if its an extended or standard battery.(non that ive come across) it just reads how much juice is left in the battery. and 8 hours sounds correct to me because an 2400 should give you about 6 and an 2800 should 7 hours. so with that, it looks like every 400mah gives you another hour of talk time

Ok so increasing the minutes using the math I did was the right thing to do. Thanks :)

I do not have an estimated talk time counter on my Sprint 6700. Is this a Verizon only option or what?

I havent seen the Sprint 6700 but on Verizon the battery has a fixed time option of 233 minutes that you can adjust.
