Google maps and the 6700
ok.. so wtf.. anyone know why I can take a Blackberry 8703e that doesnt have GPS, and put google maps on it and based on the cell towers, its giving me an approximate location..
why can i take the google maps for windows mobile and put it on my sprint 6700..and i cant locate myself at all..it's useless.. wtf? did they like completely lock it down on windows mobile devices? or did they think that cell tower triangulation isn't needed on windows mobile devices? sigh.. |
did you disable the location feature in the phone app? Dunno. I just use a $30 BT GPS, then I know exactly where I am :p
