Bootloader does not work with ROM
Hi, purchased phone from ebay (xv6700 verizon). Did hard reset and verified bootloader (2.05). Want to update to 6.1 (nothing fancy and prefer easy=exe file). I've tried several ROM's but get the error it is not correct for my phone, then I have to run the tool to get out of boot mode...and back where I started. My eyes are starting to hurt from reading the strings of emails, but I don't see anything about why mine should not work. I have seen several threads that play ping pong of whether I should downgrade the bootloader...arrrrrrggggggg

Hi, update on this...I have bootloader 2.05, and think a standard 6.5 ROM would be fine. Is there a 6.5 ROM that will work with 2.05, or do I have to downgrade bootloader to earlier version (and how please)
