No ID RUU for Apache
 

Does anyone know where I can get a No ID RUU for the HTC Apache. I cannot load any roms to my PPC6700 because I get the error 120 country ID error.

get ppc kitchen, install it. and you will have one in somewhere like:

C:\Program Files (x86)\PPCkitchen.org\PPCk-BuildOS\Upgrade\Apache_RUU\NoID_RUU
or
C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\PPCk-BuildOS\Upgrade\Apache_RUU\NoID_RUU

I tried this noID_Ruu, and i still get the error 120 country code when loading a custom rom. My bootloader version is 2.02, does that make a difference? I really would like to be able to load a custom rom.

Hey!
I had the same problem a while back with the error code with any rom I tried. I used QPST and changed the file as described in the txt file attached. The section you need to look at is right after the row of **********.

Good luck! Remember to COPY any files you are going to change so you have a backup just incase things don't go as planned...

I got the Verizon ROM to install properly on the phone. I was able to get it to make calls and receive texts, but WAP and MMS are a no go. Does anyone have any ideas on these two items?
