devices with cube functionality ... example htc touch ... disables the cube from popping up on screen if u slide finger from bottom to top

I looked in HLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell for TBOpt for changing the display of the clock in the taskbar and couldn't find it. Is it suppose to already exist, or do you have to add it?

Supposed to increase the quality of the video the camera takes:
HKey Local Machine\Software\HTC\Camera\ReParam\MP4Large (or Medium or Small).
Change the FramRate value from 10 to 19
*don’t exceed 19


This is something I found over at XDA. It has improved the quaility of my videos and my performance hasn't appeared to suffer from it:

We need to start posting .reg files (and undo regs) in the first post with these tweaks. You always have to dig through 20 emails to get the best/complete reg setting combination. I'll make one once I get this implemented. But if someone else has one PLEASE feel free to post.

We can even include alternate settings in the comments. I think it will raise the bar on these registry hacks and make testing quicker and easier for people.

These are my notes from this thread so far:
To have Large & CIF resolutions:

Change:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\P2\MainCamSupportCapSize = dword:0x0A (10)

To:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\P2\MainCamSupportCapSize = dword:0x3A (58)


To improve bitrate:
Change:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Recparam\MP4Large\Bitrate = 128000

To:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Recparam\MP4Large\Bitrate = 1024000

To improve the FPS:
Set
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Recparam\MP4Large\FrameRa te=15

At the end of this you will have all of the following resolutions:
L = 320x240
CIF = 352x288
S = 128x96
M = 176x144

Thats because even though you have a HTC mode device it isnt from HTC itself. You got your from a reseller (your carrier) and they leave certain things out based on what they want to add and feel is best for you.

You can but it will do you no good because the application it applies to you do not have. Sry. There are lots of WM5/6 reg edits out there but not all of them will apply to your device for the reasons I mentioned earlier.

hi there,
i have the touch pro and using total commander as my reg tweak.
i tried changing the operator display from T-Mobile. after i changed it pressed OK on the pop where i chagne the name, it works but after a while it will automatically change back to T-mobile again. do i need to save or something? this is my first try using a reg tweak so i'm not so sure. i see there are few icons on the bottom of screen but don't know if i have to select any of them after i change the operator name.
