buildos: procedure call error
I have looked everywhere I can think of to find a solution to this error. I used the kitchen to upgrade my Apache v. 1.04 from WM 5 to WM 6.1 with out any problems. I want to check out the WM 6.5. I've tried several builds that came with the kitchen, but after extracting all the files and scanning, I get a Procedure Call or Invalid Argument error. I can't figure out where this is coming from. Any Ideas? I use Windows 7 and until a couple hours ago, I didn't realize my newer laptop was capable of XP mode. So I put everything into XP mode and I'm still getting the same error. Thanks in advance for your ideas!!

It's been 2 days, nobody has any ideas? What additional information should I provide to help come up with a solution?

Re: buildos: procedure call error
In a word...SECURITY. I had to turn off my NORTON SECURITY SUITE before the Build OS kitchen would process the PPCkitchen_OEM_Common.rar file. I didn't have to do this with the WM6.1 ROMs, so it took me a while to figure it out. If this is posted somewhere else, I'm sorry I missed it.
Now, to figure out how to remove some of the preset kitchen files, so I can have more room to put what I want on there. (take out WMP so I can use a different one from the kitchen). Wish me luck!! |
