Re: I kill radio module...

If upon bootup the device says Radio: NONE in red text, the radio is fried and you will no longer be able to use the phone, there is a hardware failure. If it just blank and says Radio:, then you can flash the original ROM and get the radio back. If you have country ID error, then use NoID RUU. You can't restore bootloader to v1.00, but with v1.02 you can use NoID RUU. If you need any more help, please reffer to the guidea round here or ask.

Weird thing, I had my radio come back after getting Radio: NONE. I threw it through my winshield to cause this, so I gave up right away. That was a year or so ago. I powered it on last month to mess with some LCD stuff, and it showed the radio was present and working! I rebooted the mother 15-20 times and it registered the radio every time. I haven't looked into it further, but just thought I'd throw that oddity out there for anyone who cares.

After all these year, I just had the radio go NONE on me! I've searched everywhere and the only success story is the one I'm replying to. I think I'm going to put my phone in a drawer for a month and come back to it later and see if the radio works again!

Thanks for posting your story.
