can i create a modem from my 6700 to my pc to my xbox 360?

i was able to use my 6700 as a modem for my computer, have my computer run at 921 kb/s from my fone, and i both running on the dns servers 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. now i want to exeed those limits and try to get my xbox 360 running off of my fone to my pc to my 360. so far i have my fone and pc connected, my pc is connected to a linksys wirless-g broadband router and that is connected to my 360, but everytime i test my connection on my 360 i get: network adapter wired and
ip adress confirmed, but when it goes to check for dns it fails.

if you guys know any way to do this i would be extremely thankful

P.S. sorry for the repetition, im not to good with explaining things

I don't know if you can do this or not, but I do know that chances are you will lag so much on games that it's not worth it. I'm sure there is probably a way you could do it, but I'd say there is a 90% chance that once you get it set up it won't be fast enough to be worth it.

You can set up Internet Connection Sharing on your PC. It's pretty simple. All you would have to do is set up your Vision connection as shared and select your ethernet card as the sharing interface, then plug your 360 into your PC network card with a patch cable. But I agree that the speed may not be enough to play online games. Certainly worth a try though.

getting on xbox live through \tethering

i've done this a few times since i've been on vacation for a while. where i'm staying at doesn't have broadband, i use my phone to upload gamerpoints and DL patches and updates to my xbox. connection isn't fast enough to play you will lag really bad (i tried), i think its because of upload speed but you can always try.

here is instructions on how to do this very simple. connect xbox or 360 via patch or crossover cable (xbox1 has to be through crossover).

now go into network settings and go to set up a home or small business connection. click next until you get to the one that says disconnected hardware, click on box that says ignore disconnected network hardware and click next.

now in this window click on this computer connects directly to the internet. the other computers on my network connect to the internet through this computer. click next

now this window is asking how you connect to the internet click on desired connection and click next

here you must choose method that your console connects to your pc then click next

this next window you don't have to make any changes, but if wish to then do so otherwise click next

same as prior window, click next

this window wants to know if you want to keep file sharing on or off. your choice (off is recommended) click next

this window shows you everything that has been done click next

and this final window (which im not physically going into, since i don't want to make any changes write now), asks if you need to make a disk for older systems(win 9x) or just click finished (last choice) you don't need to make a disk for ether xbox1 or 360, since i've done this for both and i know that it works.
