MINIsd card no longer recognized?

I am looking for tips/things to try. I just got a new PQI minisd card and installed it yesterday. I put it in and transferred songs over. I validated that they were on the card, but didn't have time to listen to them. So today i tried and the card is no longer recognized in my ppc. Has anyone else experienced this and what should i try to determine the problem?

I never had this problem. Had you formated the card before your first use? I find it performs better after formating it.

try popping it in and out sometimes mine doesn't recognize on the first try either. :)

i had to redo my entire phone to get the card to work. tried everything else.. nothing worked.. just go to programs and click clear stoarage.

Make sure your device is seeing it as Storage Card, not Storage Card 2. For one reason or another, every now and then it changes the name.

You'll have to pop out the MiniSD, delete the folder Storage Card 2, then soft reset. Pop your MiniSD back in and all should be good.

try checking explorer to make sure there is only one "storage" folder. if there is two or more, that is usually because, sometimes, if you ask pocket outlook to save attachments to the storage card, it will sometimes not see the card but create a folder called "storage card" and save attachments there. that causes the ppc to name your actual storage as "storage card2" when it recognises it. best way to fix this is to pop out the card, erase the problem folder, and pop the card back in.

if explorer doesn't show any storage folders, then popping out the card and soft resetting works pretty well.

Hey, i have the exact same problem with the same exact minisd card. i have still not figured it out. I actually was about to post the same question when i saw this post. With mine, it works fine for a while then goes out. i cant see it on the phone at all....thru file explorer, windows explorer....nothing. But when i look at the card on my pc i see everything. If anyone knows whats up i would gladly like to know. I think mine has something to do with .netframe 2. 0 sp1...not sure
