The Roam Tone

Hey all.... I have the 6700 from Alltel...Does anyone know of a way to silence the tone the phone makes when it goes in and out of roam.... at home it is constantly going on and on...

Thanks, Z

What are "the other"?

the only thing that i can suggest is to go to

settings>phone (under personal tab)>services tab>roaming.

i have mine set to "sprint only" (i change it based upon the quality of my signal)...i'm not really sure if yours will say "alltel only"

and you can try going to

settings>phone (under personal tab)>services tab>alerts

in here, you can enable and disable the service acquired and lost tone feature.

hopefully, this will work for you.
