Edge fater than evdo?
 

I noticed that my internet is slower and isnt fast anymore to find the web pages. i already did the server fix from one of the threads. my freind has a sidekick 3 and i noticed its faster on the internet than my ppc. and it is said that evdo is faster than the edge. which is faster?

EVDO is a newer fast network. All this is still dependant on signal strength and location. At my house I get 230 kbps but at my shop I get 1.3 mbps so location matters. Hope that helps

EVDO is faster than EDGE overall. There MIGHT be certain areas where this is not true.

have u considered processor speed in how fast the pages load? I don't know the sidekicks speed but would be surprised if it has a faster processor....however it is likely u have loaded down your phone thus making it slower....this may or may not be the case with your phone.

EVDO is faster than EDGE. 3G is a little faster (or the same really0 as EVDO

there is a hack that malatesta set up...search for it...it is easy...takes thirty seconds....messing with dns numbers....and it definitely has made my web pages load faster.

i know about it my phone doesnt find them as fast as it used to anymore. so idk thanx tho
