Having the hardest time finding some settings

On the old stock firmware I was able to set how frequently the phone should connect to the server to see if I have any new e-mails. I recently updated to the 3.3 rom and can't seem to find it. Also it seems odd but my phone always used to automatically download the actual e-mails and leave it up to me to pick-up the attachments manually. Now on almost all e-mails it cuts off before finishing up picking up the full e-mail and makes me click to accept the extra 500 bytes or whatever the small number is. Does anyone know where I can set the max allowed size for e-mails to something higher or disable the feature (and still hopefully keep the attachments on a click basis). Many thanks to whomever can help I have been having a hard time figuring it out.

You're going to find all those settings within activesync

Start > Programs > Active Sync

For email pull schedule: Menu > Schedule

For size settings: Menu > Options > Highlight "Email" > Click Settings

Hope that helps :)

Many thanks for this. I swear I looked in almost everything but activesync. I thought that, that piece would just be to manually force an activesync while connected USB. Thanks again, having to manually add the extra data on the e-mails was getting pretty bad.

I remember having the same thought process some time ago. Makes sense that active sync would handle the details as it's primarily concerned with the whole exchange connection, but it would be more intuitive if the settings were found somewhere within the messaging options.

Not a problem, glad to be of some help :)
