SPRINT no vision connection not provisioning
 

ok i've been on the phone with sprint i cant get my phone to provision when it tries i get the error 1012 the tech guy said to do the standard bs
pull the battery wait two minutes LA LA LA

anyways after 30 minutes he has me go into ##3282#

first thing i notice is all my ip settings and and the setting in EPST are blank or Zero

the tech guy was baffled (im sure it has something to do with upgrading to the sprint clean rom) the tech guy i spoke to didn't seem to know what the settings should be he said there just there

if anyone reading this has sprint with vision can we post the settings

he had me hit the restore button as he seem to think this would fill in the data but it comes back blank Any ideas ?](*,) i would like to try entering the values from a known working unit and see if that works

Have you tried opening your phone, menu, options, services tab, select internet then get settings, then click start?

I would flash back to sprint rom and have them reprogram it
at the store. You need to have a prog called qpst to edit
some of those settings that got blanked. If you learn to use qpst you can backup those settings for the next time it happens.

Same thing happened to me when I flashed to clean ROM. When I flashed back to Colonel's these are my settings and it works again:

Primary HA address 68.28.15.12
Secondary HA Address 68.28.31.12

if you type in ##your msl# you will get the option of view and edit. choose edit and you will see mds and msid. edit mds tou your phone number and msid you shoul get from your provider. in my are its 9515512570. everything on your phone will automatically reset with all the information. hope it help.

ok i put the newest official sprint rom on the phone did a hard reset
let it install all it's junk ware reset and tried provisioning

nothing

the thing i noticed is if i goto
phone/ menu/device information

at the bottom of the list it shows current username

its my phones esn (*****F5F@hcm.sprintpcs.com)



edit i found it to edit these settings use ##pst# then use the drop downs thers all the settings for the phone

does anyone have anyidea on how to to change it ive already edited in the correct information in ##3282#

so i had flashed it back to the default sprint rom reset the prl to factory and restarted with full junk software install re programed my phone so i could make calls and took my phone to sprint tech to see if they could get it to work

they failed they seem to think the actual modem unit in the phone may be bad

i hope they switch it out with a mogul
