lost my radio image
 

i lost my radio image on my sprint ppc 6700 wm6 device, it says "radio image version = NONE". how can i get it back. iv read post after post and tried the methods but no luck. what im i doing wrong? i keep getting radio rom errors and country id errors. i think it wont update because there is no image to update. if anyone can help me please do....thanks

I had this happen on 2 different phone and was never able to fix the problem. It seems to be a problem with the actual hardware rather then the software you are trying to flash onto it.

I lost mine after the phone took a BIG static electricity hit at a McDonalds playland (my kid came down the slide and wanted me to catch him...ZAP)

I tried to reflash the phones radio, but it wouldn't bring it back to life. I'm assuming I blew the phone radio chip. Still had WiFi, and the PDA seems fine, but no phone. I have read there are other things you can try to fix it, but I didn't pursue it after trying to re-flash the radio...I just picked up another 6700 from craigslist for $75 and now I have a working phone with a "parts" phone ready!

It may be easier for you to try to pick up another phone and transfer your data over to that.
