Probability of getting 6800

I went to sprint store as my 6700 was acting up. They said they don't have one ready for em so ordered a new one. What are my chances of getting Mogul?

I am close to get $150 credit to buy 6800. If I get 6700 , I intend to sell 6700 replacement. Which is the best place to sell it? Do I need to lock, unlock it?
Thanks in advance.

If the sprint store attaches (read: esn swap) that new 6700 to your account (insurance or warranty replacement or whatever) it will restart your upgrade eligibility. You will *NOT* be eligible to upgrade. You will have that 6700 until you pony up full price for the mogul, or for another year ($75 rebate) or 2 years ($150 rebate.)

The #1 qualifier for your rebate is "Must have continuous service on same equipment for 12 months"

After that point the only chance you have of redeeming your eligiblity is *if* the Manager of a Sprint corporate store overrides the system to let you get your rebate.
I advise you to discuss this contingency with the Manager of the store you are getting your replacement 6700 from BEFORE accepting the replacement phone.

I've been selling Sprint phones for Radioshack for 5 years, and I have customers all the time that are in the situation that you are about to be in.

Just a friendly heads up.

Thank you

Thank you so much. Not sure how to double check, as it is, if my phone does not work, I will have to get replacement anyways.

Simian: that policy changed in September of 2006. The only problem is that RadioShack couldn't do anything about it, because they were stuck using FAST, which does not allow any sort of changes by the sales associate in that respect, and also the POS's depency on Eligibility Codes. No eligibility code, no upgrade discount.

I don't think Sprint stores or telesales had these same problems. When I worked at RadioShack around that time, I turned away a lot of upgrade customers for this reason. They all went to the Sprint Store down the hall and got phones.

Yet another reason why RS sucks. I guess I'm hijacking the thread here, but it took them forever to switch to SNAP. Quit RS and go to school.
