Someone is deleting shit from the folders.

I just put 4.0.31.23 in the WM6 OEM folder

phoenx06 10-27-2007 01:50 PM

Wow, someone has completely cleared out my folder on the ftp, that means, my custom rom and all my oems are gone. Awesome. I'll reload them and fix the links. Sorry guys.

phoenx06 10-27-2007 02:04 PM

Alrighty, I uploaded them again, but this time in the working WM6 folder. I fixed the links to reflect this change. Also, I would like to change the name of this thread to have both versions in the title, but I cant for some reason. Can anyone help me out there?

Vwracer69 10-27-2007 02:15 PM

is it just me or alot of files getting deleted, verizonguys folders are almost all empty?

mmbhm 10-27-2007 10:38 PM

I've been tryin to get this to work for two days. When I add the recently re-uploaded mms 4281 to Verizonguys V5 kitchen and then run buildos, it blows up telling me the temp file already exists. i've re-downloaded the kitchen rar. What the heck am i doing wrong?????

phoenx06 10-27-2007 10:48 PM

Try downloading the file again, I removed some unneeded files. Or, when it say ".... file already exists" just go into the OEM for MMS and delete that file. Run BuildOS again and you should be fine.

Now heres the instructions:

2. Once you have cooked and flashed your new ROM, navigate to .[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader]

3. Add a string value
Name= X-VzW-MDN
Value= your ten digit phone number

4. Change the following value to these:
User-Agent= utstar67kv1
Accept= application/vnd.wap.multipart.related
Accept-Language= en

5. Okay, now open up messaging, hit "Menu", "MMS Options"

6. Select the "Servers" tab, and click "New"

7. Fill in the following:
Server Name= Verizon Wireless
Gateway= (nothing)
Port Number= 80
Server Address= http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
Connect Via= (Verizon Wireless should be here as long as it is set up in your connections, it should be selected already)m

8. Hit "Done", then select you new Verizon Wirelss connection, and hit "Set as default"

phoenx06 Could i do all the edits in the rgu file in the kitchen. So i don't have to do it on the phone after every hard reset? Or do the reg entry's get messed up when making a rom?

Anyone know how to add this part in the kitchen?

Also "svgplayback.dll" is also in "HTC Streaming Media_2_20_615718_00". They are the same size. But the one in "Optional_ARCsoft4_10-22-07" seems newer.
I just removed the "svgplayback.dll" from the htc oem. I haven't had a chance to test it yet though.

Phoenx You have any suggestions?
