XM Radio streaming
 

Not sure if this was posted anywhere... but If you have an XMradio.com account to listen online, you can stream to your phone pretty easily. Instead of using the webiste, one of the guys over at xm411.com set up this url

Basically, use your login e-mail and pw, and select your channel and bitrate. 1x works the low bitrate awesome, and can handle the high bitrate, but will buffer every now and then.

I used to work for XM radio, so I know pretty much anything there is to know :P They're pretty good, I currently own 4 radios and I'm paying for all of em... sadly. lol. That's a common misconseption of XM, is that you can hear your radio station you like from anywhere... well, really XM has their own programming... along with Sirius. XM currently owns and runs 170 channels, 65 commercial free music channels (5 with commercials, damn clear channel lawsuit) and I love it. You can check it out online at xmradio.com and sign up for the free 3 day trial, see if you like it. If I remember right.... online streaming is 7.99/mo where as the xm service itself is 12.92/mo (buying seperate radio) with online sevice free.

BTW, this phone rocks, my new favorite toy. I love streaming this stuff. Now... to call sprint once my bill shows online... they jacked up something BAD when I switched phones.... they told me my pack would be converted to the Vision pack.... wasn't done. So... I got charged $0.03 per kb used of data services for the month of october.... I'm pissed...

I bet ur mad....but no I know u can't get any radio station I just heard that the box (97.9) was on xm too. Ever heard of DJ Screw? The box plays a lot of srew on the weekends and have a lot of good tx rap artists. :D which is my fav genre. ;)

Ya man, XM plays some good stuff. They don't have that station in particular on there, but Chamillionaire, Lil Flip, and Down Magazine have their own shows on XM 66 RAW. So do the Choppaholix. That's when all the good southern stuff plays :D

man I aint heard no chopaholix in a while...heck I'm gonna go download some now speaking of that! :D I may just try out xm and if I do I wil pm u.
